AUSTIN (KXAN) – Multiple fire agencies battled a house fire in west Austin after lightning from a quick-moving storm struck its roof, said the Austin Fire Department.

ATCEMS, Austin Fire Department and STAR Flight crews also aided in rescue and recovery efforts Sunday night. What's next APD says this is an open and ongoing investigation.
