Some residents in northwest Atlanta say the crime happening just outside their doorsteps has become unbearable, and they’re now turning to city leaders for help.

Residents and business owners have described their block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive as a war zone with prostitution, drug sales, and gunshots happening nightly.
