THE DALLES, Ore. (KPTV /Gray News) – A 3-year-old from Washington state who was reported missing from a hotel Saturday morning was found in the Columbia River and later died, according to police.

After a search, the 3-year-old was found in the Columbia River near the Oregon shoreline. The child was rushed to a nearby hospital, but police say lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful.
