ASHLAND, Neb. — The buffalo at the Wildlife Safari Park in Ashland enjoyed Thursday morning's snow. The area received several inches of flurries — even the buffalo are snow covered.

The four cheetah cubs were born to a first-time mother at the Wildlife Safari Park in Ashland, Nebraska in late 2022 (Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium) By Jacob Comer.

In Ashland, Nebraska, the Platte River also saw record levels of flooding. The river there — 24.35 feet on Saturday — was over a foot higher than ever recorded.
