An unruly Chinese boy who battles dragons and defies destiny has made his way to Western cinema screens after smashing box office records in China.

Director RaMell Ross and cinematographer Jomo Fray rigged cameras to the actors’ bodies, allowing the audience to see through the characters’ eyes.

Jamie Lee Curtis portrays Annette, a former showgirl turned “bevertainer,” who struggles to compete with younger colleagues in a Las Vegas casino.
