The Chicago Blackhawks drafted the top-ranked international player with the No. 3 pick in Friday’s NHL draft in 18-year-old Swedish forward Anton Frondell.

With the third pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, the Chicago Blackhawks selected Anton Frondell. The 18-year-old forward played last season with Djurgardens IF of the Swedish Hockey League.

Frondell may be a nondescript 6'1" in height, but when he's on the ice, he looks so much bigger. Some of that is attributable to his wide frame; 204 pounds is bulky for an 18-year-old at that height.

Despite reports that they are interested in guys like Anton Frondell and Porter Martone, there is a chance that this is a smoke screen for them to take Misa anyway.
