Starlink testing will begin for the airline next month, with the first commercial flight with the service taking off this spring on a United Embraer E-175 aircraft, according to a press release.

United has now accelerated this timeline a bit, with testing starting next month and the first passenger flight to offer Starlink, an Embraer E-175 regional jet, taking off this spring.

United Airlines UAL.O said on Monday that the Federal Aviation Administration has approved its first Starlink-equipped aircraft type and that the first commercial flight is planned for May.
