On April 21, Alisa’s mother dropped her off at school in American Fork at 9:30 a.m. However, she “never went to class, and was later located on security cameras at a nearby gas station.

After graduation, Alisa has her sights set on pursuing a degree in computer science at a prestigious university. "I’m going to plan on transferring to, hopefully, Stanford," Alisa told KABC.

More than a week after 15-year-old Alisa Petrov walked away from her school in American Fork, Utah, her family is offering a reward for her safe return.

Ten-year-old Alisa Perales is in fact smarter than a 5th grader! Miraculously, the prodigy will graduate from a Southern California community college in a few weeks and hopes to transfer to Stanford.
