Aeromexico will begin flying from Phoenix to Mexico City on March 30, 2025. The once-daily flights will fly on Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and offer more than 2,300 round-trip seats per week.
On August 28, Aeromexico unveiled its new livery to celebrate its 90th anniversary, with the first aircraft, an Embraer E190, registered as XA-IAC, wearing the new paint job.
Mexican airline Aeromexico, in a partnership with Delta Air Lines, announced Oct. 21 that it will start operating nonstop daily flights between Mexico City and Phoenix Sky Harbor in 2025.
Aeromexico will launch four new U.S. routes this winter, increasing its network to 35 nonstop transborder sectors and boosting capacity to 133,000 two-way weekly seats.
That route will be operated daily with an Embraer 190 aircraft. Aeromexico said the routes will be operated as part of its transborder joint venture (JV) with Delta, which is based at ATL.
