The Indiana Senate is unanimously supporting the efforts of state Sen. Rick Niemeyer, R-Lowell, to permanently end vehicle emissions testing in Lake and Porter counties.

The designated "Safe Zone" for speed camera enforcement is the I-65 worksite south of State Road 2 to the Kankakee River, or between mile markers 239 and 235.
