AMD has confirmed the existence of several upcoming processors, including a new entry-level Ryzen 5 9600X3D desktop CPU featuring its popular gaming-optimized 3D V-Cache technology.
AMD's Threadripper 9000 processors for high-end desktops and workstations are here. They use 24 to 96 CPU cores.
The release notes don't reveal any specifications for the Ryzen 5 9600X3D (or any of the Pro additions), such as core counts, clock speeds, and the amount of L3 cache.
Then come the Ryzen 9000 PRO chips aimed at business desktops. The leak lists four: Ryzen 9 PRO 9945, Ryzen 7 PRO 9745, Ryzen 5 PRO 9645, and Ryzen 5 PRO 9400.
The Ryzen 5 7600X3D, if you’re wondering, is going for $300. The info comes straight from AMD itself… though perhaps not intentionally so.
The desktop lineup also comprises eight SKUs, with the flagship being the Ryzen 7 Pro 8700G, an eight-core, 16-thread chip boasting 24MB of cache, up to 5.1GHz of boost speed, and a 45-65W TDP.
