Writer-director Ivan Fund's roving black-and-white feature, which played competition in Berlin, follows a little girl who claims she can read the minds of animals.

"The 7th" is about a teenager who flees a dystopian Duluth, with the balance of life on Earth at stake. It stands to become the highest-budget movie filmed in the city in over 20 years.
