The 250,000-square-foot, two-building complex at 999 Stewart Ave. was largely vacated late last year when high-risk auto insurer Robert Plan Corp. hit the skids. It filed for bankruptcy last week.

Comforce Corp., a nationwide provider of skilled temporary and contract workers, has moved to Bethpage. Its new headquarters office is at the Sterling Corporate Center, 999 Stewart Ave. in Bethpage.

Built in 1965, the 233,000-square-foot office building on 17.56 acres at 1055-1065 Stewart Ave. was once part of the sprawling Grumman industrial campus.
