LeAnn Angerman is leaving the Lake County Board of Elections and Registration after seven years to become Northwest Indiana director for U.S. Sen. Jim Banks, R-Ind.

The Indiana Department of Transportation is bringing its "Safe Zone" speed camera enforcement program to the Interstate 65 worksite in southern Lake County beginning July 7.
