st clair, mo. — A man who was shot by a St. Clair police officer after police say he dragged the officer during a traffic stop was charged on Monday, authorities said.

At about 3 p.m. Saturday, a man was driving a homemade dune buggy east on Missouri Route TT, just off of North Commercial Avenue in St. Clair, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
