The 132 bus route, which currently provides a vital service to many west Wicklow residents, stops in towns and villages along the N81, proceeding to Tallaght Hospital, Heuston Station and Busáras.

It wasn't clear how many kids were on the bus at the time of the 9:30 a.m. crash on Old Yorktown Road, with authorities only saying "several" students were aboard.
