Tehran, IRNA - US President Donald Trump has reportedly revoked security protection for his former Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and a former top aide due to their actions taken on Trump's behalf.

Mike Pompeo is the latest to have his Secret Service detail pulled by Donald Trump. A reason for the abrupt change is unclear, but The New York Times reported Pompeo still faces ongoing assassination threats for his role in the U.

The New York Times reported Thursday Trump’s former secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, and a former top aide, Brian Hook, had their protection revoked. The report acknowledges the men face threats from Iran “because of actions they took on Mr. Trump’s behalf,” citing four people with knowledge.
