Even as a former Olympian, WNBA legend Lisa Leslie is still being forced to jump through hoops to prove her worth. Many fans have wondered if Leslie would ever make her official return to the WNBA as a head coach; to that, the 52-year-old icon has some bad news.

On Unrivaled’s broadcast team, Leslie has spent time with Angel, getting to know her as she prepares to call the league’s games. That relationship has blossomed into a mentorship. “The biggest advice I have for you is going to be how you shoot your lay-ups. Period. Like we’re going to fix that,” Lisa recently told Angel on her podcast.
