The Storm will receive the No. 2 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft and Li Yueru from the Sparks — who are getting the No. 9 selection from Seattle. The Storm will be picking at No. 13 via the Sparks.

Also, the Aces received the No. 13 pick in the 2025 draft from Los Angeles; the Sparks received the No. 9 pick and a 2026 second-round pick from Seattle; and the Storm will receive the Aces' 2026 first-round pick.
But on Jan. 28, Griner reportedly agreed to a deal with the Atlanta Dream, which would be the 34-year-old's second WNBA team after spending 11 seasons in Phoenix. Fellow top free agent Brionna Jones on Jan. 30 also reportedly agreed to join Atlanta, a major double haul for the franchise.
