On Tuesday, a woman was found dead in Hanford and her children were missing. The children were found safe within 24 hours, but the Amber Alert was sent out more than 13 hours after the discovery of the death.

Two girls were located on Thursday after they were believed to have been abducted by their father in Hanford, Kings County.

Authorities in Kings County issued an Amber Alert Wednesday for two young girls believed to have been abducted by their father after the girls' mother was found fatally shot at a residence.
