INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Police is accepting applications for the 88 th Recruit Academy for lateral applicants.

Indiana State Police troopers delivered a healthy baby boy on I-65's shoulder near Lafayette, Saturday morning.

Just before 8:00 a.m., two Indiana State Police troopers responded to the call and, upon arrival, quickly determined that the baby was not going to wait for paramedics to help with his delivery.
