Some readers will remember Nottingham's very own Wimpy restaurant, which opened in the Broadmarsh shopping centre in 1975 and was run by the same manager, Akram Malik, from 1983 to 2019.

Wimpy’s menu has a number of other items you’d expect to find, such as breakfast muffins, hash browns, chicken burgers, and soda, but there are also a few surprises on there.
