The 73-year-old head coach is energized about his team and believes they’ll be competitive in the AFC West right away. On Wednesday, the Raiders opened their 2025 training camp.

After five seasons in Miami, Wilkins signed a four-year, $110 million deal with the Raiders in 2024 after a nine-sack 2023 campaign. He was set to become a star piece on Las Vegas' defense, with $84.75 million of his contract guaranteed.

Miami drafted Wilkins with the No. 13 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He played five seasons in the aqua and orange, starting 77 of a potential 81 games. As a Dolphin, he racked up 355 total tackles, 20.5 sacks and 50 quarterback hits.
