However, the ThinkBook Plus’ biggest hurdle may be its price. Because, starting at $1,999, Lenovo is charging a bit of a premium for the convenience of having two devices in one.

The ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 stars at $2,309 for a Core i5-12500H, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD, which was my review configuration. You can spend $2,789 for a Core i7-12700H, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD.

Lenovo’s ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 will be available beginning May 22, with prices starting at $1,400. It is not clear which configuration this covers, but we’re assuming it’s an entry level model.
