Police say K9 Andor was shot while attempting to catch a suspect and was taken to a local animal emergency facility in stable condition.

HENDERSON, Texas (KLTV) - The Henderson Police Department is asking the public’s help to find a suspect in a Walmart incident. They said the man entered the store Saturday around 9 p.m. and “decided ‘Everyday low prices’ just weren’t low enough,” the department said in a social media post.

The attack happened just after 4 p.m. Monday in the area of Lacy Lane and Tall Timbers Trail, within the Lexington Park, police say.

Information is limited at the moment, but KFOX14/CBS4 was there at around 8 a.m. when officers from the Socorro Police Department and deputies with the El Paso County Constables descended upon a shop on Moon Road, near Alameda Avenue.

HPD no longer requires patrol officers to make at least one traffic stop per shift. In 2024, Black drivers accounted for about 34% of HPD’s traffic stops despite comprising 23% of the city’s population.

A 60-year-old man died in a road rage incident in Texas, authorities say, as a search for the other driver is now underway. The Houston Police Department said the 60-year-old was involved in a “road rage disturbance” with another man on Katy Freeway around 4:30 p.m. May 24.

Two New Orleans escapees Jermaine Donald and Leo Tate, were captured in Texas, according to Huntsville Police Department.
