Taylor Swift’s New Post Leaves Fans Convinced of Major Career Move originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Taylor Swift announced on social media this Friday morning that she now owns the rights to her first six albums. This means that the 35-year-old singer owns every single recording, music video, concert film and the art that comes with it.
The master recordings to the pop superstar’s earliest work were sold to Scooter Braun in 2019, and acquired a year later by the investing firm Shamrock Capital.
