The Kansas City Chiefs are on an incredible run this century, and particularly since 2013, of postseason play. The Chiefs have made the playoffs 14 of 25 seasons this century. The run becomes even more impressive when you consider Kansas City has reached the postseason for the past 10 consecutive seasons.

After the 2024 season ended with the Philadelphia Eagles knocking off the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, the path to the title game seems more open than ever entering the 2025 campaign.

Obviously not every team has a chance of making the Super Bowl, heck, realistically only a handful do. Inside of those broad, obvious observations are key reasons we think teams do, and don’t have a shot at making the big game at the end of the season.
