Heavy wind and rain is expected, with weather warnings also in place across much of the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

Storm Floris, the first rough weather front of the summer, has hit the British Isles this morning. The Met Office named the storm, which is expected to hit with 90mph gusts, as it issued two yellow weather warnings. An amber weather warning is in place for the majority of Scotland between 10am and 10pm.

Storm Floris is set to bring severe disruption to Glasgow and batter the whole of Scotland with 90mph winds throughout Monday.
