Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown declared a state of emergency amid ICE protests downtown and issued a curfew to begin at 9:30 p.m.
According to the Spokane County Jail roster Former Spokane City Council President Ben Stuckart has been released from jail following his charges of failing to disperse. His bail was set at $500 yesterday and NonStop Local is working to get more information on the status of those charges.

ICE protests in downtown Spokane escalate to state of emergency after demonstrators ignore curfew, with police deploying tear gas and making arrests for failure to disperse.
“Protest on public property is always allowed,” said Jeffry Finer, a Spokane attorney who has represented many protesters over the years, and has also worked on a landmark case involving the restriction of demonstrations at a local medical building.
