Silent Hill f is launching sooner than we anticipated, and a new PS5 gameplay trailer shows off the game's melee-focused combat.

Silent Hill f physical edition preorders are available now at all major retailers. Just like last year's Silent Hill 2 remake, Silent Hill f only has one edition. But unlike Silent Hill 2, which was exclusive to PlayStation 5 and PC, the upcoming entry will launch on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X on September 25.

It had only been a few months since our last look at Silent Hill f, so it was perhaps a little surprising to see the first Japan-set game in the series pop up during Sony's latest State of Play stream on Wednesday.
