Residents hid in their homes as law enforcement on a speaker ordered Boelter to come out of the field and surrender.

Vance Luther Boelter, Minnesota man accused of shooting lawmakers Melissa Hortman and John Hoffman, has been arrested. He was found in Green Isle, Sibley County

Brooklyn Park Police Chief Mark Bruley described the operation to track down Boelter as “the largest manhunt in the state’s history.” He said the search lasted about 43 hours and involved hundreds of detectives along with 20 different SWAT teams.
