Ukrainian drones targeted Moscow for a second time this week, with city authorities saying early Friday that air defense systems downed four unmanned aircraft near the Russian capital. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said emergency crews were dispatched to areas where debris from the intercepted drones had fallen.

Explosions were heard in the city of Moscow and Moscow Oblast on the morning of 14 March, with columns of smoke being visible. The authorities have reported a drone attack, claiming that four UAVs were downed.
