Sean Payton on Thursday afternoon provided an update on the Broncos’ interest in free agent running back JK Dobbins.

As the Denver Broncos gear up for the 2025 NFL season, all eyes are on head coach Sean Payton not just for his ability to steer the franchise back to relevance, but for how he’s handling unexpected competition brewing within OTA.

Dobbins, 26, rushed for 905 yards and nine touchdowns in 13 games with the Los Angeles Chargers last fall. If he signs with the Broncos, he will join a RB depth chart that already includes Audric Estime, Jaleel McLaughlin, Tyler Badie and Blake Watson.
