Emergency Health Services in British Columbia says 10 people were sent to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash that shut down the Sea-to-Sky Highway in both directions Wednesday.

The highway is closed between Callaghan Valley Road and Brew Creek Road and traffic is blocked in both directions, according to Drive BC.

RCMP are still investigating the cause of the incident, which caused multiple injuries. It was noted that there was poor weather occurring at the time of the accident on Wednesday morning.
