Last season was truly a coming-out party for Scotty PIppen Jr. In 21 games with the Grizzlies, he averaged 12.9 points, 4.7 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.7 steals on 49/42/75 shooting from the field.

With 1,577 career points, Pippen is 12th on the Commodores’ all-time scoring list. Keeping his current pace, he’d pass Shan Foster’s program record (2,011) by about 100 points next season.

Pippen Jr. started 89 of 90 games during three seasons at Vanderbilt. The Commodores won six games total during his first two seasons, but in his junior campaign in 2021-22, they turned a corner.

Scotty Pippen Jr. has NBA Hall of Fame bloodlines. He was a two-time all-conference selection at Vanderbilt and the SEC's first player in 25 years to average 20 points in back-to-back seasons.
