For many San Franciscans, the best weekend of the year is here. Outside Lands, the city's premiere music festival, kicked off today in Golden Gate Park with a scattered cloud cover keeping the temps in check - until the sun came out mid-afternoon to bless the stages with slightly warmer temps than last year.

With the Outside Lands Music Festival underway at Golden Gate Park, many schools are holding fundraisers by opening up their parking lots for festivalgoers.

The 17th annual Outside Lands Festival wraps up at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park Sunday night. The lineup includes Hozier, Glass Animals and Jamie XX. Organizers say more than 100 artists perform at seven stages throughout the weekend.
