Russia has published the names of 97 fallen Ukrainian soldiers after Kiev allegedly refused to receive over 6,000 bodies returned in a humanitarian gesture. The move comes after talks in Istanbul, where Russia also offered a large prisoner exchange.

Russian officials say that Moscow is still awaiting confirmation from Kyiv on a planned exchange of 6,000 bodies of soldiers killed in action and is accusing Ukraine of delaying the process.

Russia and Ukraine recently agreed to exchange more prisoners and to return the bodies of 12,000 dead soldiers.
