Governor Ron DeSantis has awarded $1.5 million Monday to the City of Winter Haven through the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund (JGGF) to expand rail access at the Central Florida Integrated Logistics Park,

The state grant, announced by Gov. Ron DeSantis in Winter Haven, would help connect the CSX Intermodal Terminal with the Central Florida Integrated Logistics Park.

DeSantis spoke about expanding rail access Monday morning in the city of Winter Haven. The governor presented the city with a $1.5 million check to complete the project. DeSantis said the project will create jobs and help expand shipping capabilities in the area.
