The Ridley Scott film 'Robin Hood' has an anti-authoritarian quote at the opening of the movie. It was missing from Amazon Prime Video, and now we know why.

Claims that Amazon Prime Video deliberately removed the opening text of the 2010 film " Robin Hood" starring Russell Crowe and directed by Ridley Scott circulated on social media in early May 2025.

When the film distributor provided Amazon with the movie in 2020, it apparently sent a version of Ridley Scott's Robin Hood that did not include the opening quote.
