Newly elected Prince George’s County Executive Aisha Braveboy began her term this week by appointing a new police chief, and promising that she would build unity and make the county more friendly to commercial builders.

Responding officers found a man, later identified as 36-year-old Michael Jordon Thompson of Dundalk, outside the business shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. A second man was also shot and dropped off at an area hospital, police say. He is in critical condition.
