Watson, a defensive tackle, went undrafted in 2025 after a four-year career at the University of Florida. The Buccaneers initially signed Watson as an undrafted free agent but later waived him before the roster cut deadline.

The Cleveland Browns have signed tackle Thayer Munford Jr. to the active roster from New England's practice squad.

Watson, who played at Florida, was originally signed by the Buccaneers after going undrafted in April. He weighed 464 pounds at the school’s pro day.
