The Pigeon Forge Fire Department said Sevier County is seeing conditions that could help start a wildfire heading into the weekend.

Sevier County issues a burn ban due to dry conditions and high fire risk, with gas grills allowed but other outdoor fires prohibited.

Sevier County, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Pittman Center, and Sevierville have issued a burn ban until further notice.
