Before the Australia vs England Champions Trophy 2025 match at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on February 22 (Saturday), a bizarre mix-up saw India’s national anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’ mistakenly played instead of Australia’s ‘Advance Australia Fair.

The Pakistan Cricket Board was left red-faced when the Indian National Anthem was accidentally played before the start of ENG vs AUS Champions Trophy match.

India may not be playing any match of the Champions Trophy on Pakistan soil but the Indian national anthem certainly made its way across the border. A glaring error ahead of the game between Australia and England saw the national anthem played in Lahore.
