Oregon State advanced to face the loser of USC and Saint Mary’s, who are scheduled to play a winners’ bracket game Saturday night at Goss Stadium. The Beavers (42-13-1) will need to win a Sunday double-header and a Monday elimination matchup to move on to the super regionals.

On a day when OSU was playing to save its season, the good vibes permeated onto the field and resulted in an emphatic 7-2 win over TCU in the NCAA Corvallis Regional at Goss Stadium. The Beavers will advance to Saturday's 3 p.m. elimination game, where they will face either USC or St. Mary's after those two teams square off at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Four home runs in the first three innings gave Oregon State all the scoring it would need, while a great start from Dax Whitney shut down TCU.
