The Federal Aviation Administration said Saturday that the plane was a Beechcraft Bonanza that crashed near Pitt-Greenville Airport in North Carolina around 7:50 a.m.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol Master Trooper Rico Stephens said there were no survivors, ABC affiliate WCTI reported. Officials said they are in the process of identifying the remains of the deceased and notifying the next of kin.

At 10:06 a.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory in effect until 8 p.m. for Northern Wayne and Southern Wayne as well as Susquehanna, Lackawanna, Luzerne and Pike counties.

The National Weather Service released a wind advisory at 10:03 a.m. on Sunday valid between noon and 9 p.m. for Warren, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Mercer, Salem, Gloucester, Camden and Burlington counties.
