Penn State hockey commit Jackson Smith, who played last season in the WHL, will join the Nittany Lions next season before heading to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Niederhauser became the highest Penn State draft pick since the ABA-NBA merger when he was drafted 30th overall by the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night.
