The successor to the first stock market index is getting up there with the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite in all-time-high territory.

Stocks found support from afternoon news reports that the U.S. and the EU are working toward a deal that would set a 15% tariff on most imports. Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the EU may hit U.S. goods with a 30% levy if no agreement is reached before an Aug. 1 deadline set by President Donald Trump.

The three major US indices all look as if they are trying to rally again, as we are still in a very bullish trend. At this point, it is likely that we will see all-time new highs in all three indices.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average pulled within 100 points of its first record close since Dec. 4 after positive updates on trade pushed stocks higher ahead of key earnings reports. The Dow rose 508 points,

Astera, Circle Internet, Google, Netflix and Robinhood were big movers Monday. Fed Chair Powell's speech looms Tuesday.
