Miss North Dakota delegates were awarded $500 each in scholarship money. Miss North Dakota’s Teen winners were awarded $250. Pageant organizers say they’ve seen the competition grow.

Sophia Richards was crowned Miss North Dakota in June 2024 and competed for the Miss America 2025 title Dec. 30 through Jan. 5.

Wiedrich, who takes over for Miss North Dakota Jacky Arness of Fargo, will travel to Atlantic City, N.J., to compete in the Miss America pageant on Sept. 13.
