Liam Neeson has criticised his Star Wars death scene, revealing he wanted more from his final showdown. The Naked Gun actor played Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn in George Lucas ’s prequel Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999) – but his character perished in a lightsaber duel with Darth Maul.

A somewhat long time ago in a galaxy not so far away, Liam Neeson took a lightsaber to the gut. The Oscar nominee recently expressed dissatisfaction with his Jedi Master character Qui-Gon Jinn in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace,
