John Cena and Logan Paul faced off against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso at WWE SmackDown on Friday night. First, Rhodes returned to share words with Cena and Paul after he previously issued a challenge to them for a tag team match at Money in the Bank. Then, Paul emerged to provide backup for Cena before things got physical.

Cena and Paul lunged into action, but were outgunned by the former undisputed WWE tag team champions. Uso dove onto Cena before hitting a combination flapjack-Cody Cutter onto Paul. Uso raised his world heavyweight title and Rhodes hoisted Cena's undisputed WWE title as their rivals watched from the ramp.

Friday night's latest "WWE SmackDown" closed with the continuation of the championship feud, as the company gears up for "Money In the Bank" on June 7, when Cena and Rhodes face off in a tag-team match alongside their respective partners Logan Paul and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso.
